Hmmmm...what to make a harp from...could you carve the shape from balsa wood and then Sculpey over it?
I would probably try wire-wrapping the strings around heavy wire as the main shape, maybe even a solder or coat hanger frame, and then building the clay up over that, but would then probably get mad when it turned out badly and squish the whole thing flat.
I have more ideas that all turn out that same way, flat from a fit of anger, so you shouldn't take any advice from me at all.
