Keli is going to amass a fabric stash. Hahaha! I enjoy it when other people get addicted to my hobbies. :)

LOL @ Melinda - it makes you feel better about it, doesn't it? Same here!
Keli, it's not fair for others to not be able to see the stuff, just because I shouldn't be seeing it - go ahead and post it, and I won't look.
Cause I'm moderate - that the way I roll.
I read that this morning on a blog - "that's the way I roll", and figured I would give that dead horse it's final beating... hopefully...
Love the new tools, and especially the curtain book! I could use that!
Your surprise took a nasty turn yesterday - I spent three days doing tedium work, then decided it might look even better if I did one more thing to the entire piece, and it totally covered everything, every bit of the tiny tedium work, instead of accenting it.
But I'm rolling with it, because this is a fun project and I'm not going to let anything about it stress me!
And... you know... that's the way... no, I can't even say it again.

I think my first comment disappeared...I have the jig - love it! I made the Mackintosh chair covers from the embroidery book. Great choices all around!

>"then decided it might look even better if I did one more thing to the entire piece, and it totally covered everything, every bit of the tiny tedium work, instead of accenting it."< Been there, done that, I know exactly what you mean. sometimes it's hard to know where the 'leave well enough alone' point is.
Melinda...I won't accumulate a fabric stash, because as soon as I'm done with Susan's present I'm sending the leftover pink gingham to you.
Susan...You won't look...yeah, right!
Brae...I've seen your chairs, they turned out great. I'm particularly interested in the fireplace screens, since the dining room fireplace in my Fairfield is glued on crooked.

Ooohh! Pretty pink gingham!

I should have leftover wings and crowns too...

Pink gingham, wings and crowns - now I am ever so excited to see what it can be!!
I don't remember ever seeing a picture of Frida Kahlo wearing pink gingham...
Are there going to be leftover tiny fake mustaches to send Melinda, too?
Is it cheating if I guess??

Oh my, Frida in pink gingham, how creative!
I've got dibs on the leftover mustaches.
