overwhelmed

I was hoping that the long weekend would mean that I'd be almost done with the secret Halloween project I'm working on by the time I post this morning...but I have a habit of taking on projects that are more involved and time consuming than I think they're going to be. I spent a lot of time on it this weekend, then Monday evening, looking at what I'd done, realized I didn't get much accomplished at all...that's very discouraging.
Maybe next year I'll envision something simple that will only take a couple of weeks.
Keli, I once had someone tell me that you estimate time for making miniatures by multiplying your estimated time by 12....That is usually about right for 1:12 scale. LOL Can't wait to see what you come up with.

By twelve?!?
Oh boy, am I in trouble...

Don't think about the time, Keli. Think about how amazing it's going to look and how you'll feel being able to say that you did it. Because after just seeing your mock up I know it's going to be awesome!

HEY! Melinda saw a mock-up?? Thought it was supposed to be a secret? Just from me? Is there a version of the ACLU for spoiled whiners? Is that a redundancy?
What did it look like, Melinda?????
Just spent two hours in Lowe's - how can that be so freaking exhausting?? I was quite the whiney child by the end of it, and had to be taken to Steak n Shake for a portabella-swiss burger before I was human again.
We're making huge strides in the new room - Johnny Rotten is hooking up a dimmer switch and I am supposed to be cleaning behind a dresser that we are trashing, but was having withdrawal and not quite over being a spoiled child, so I snuck off in here to see what you all are up to.
Melinda, did you take a picture of the mock-up?
Can you sketch it from memory?
