I didn't do any jumping around, I did all the yellow, orange and brown flowers and centers separately. The blue flowers were close enough together that they almost always were, at one point, a stitch apart, I just had to pay attention to the direction I worked so that I was always leading toward the next closest flower. I had to make a few stops and starts with the blue, but not many.
