This kit has me flummoxed.  I have turned it every which way, rearranged where all the doors and windows go, tried dozens of possible furniture layouts....

Nope.  Not this way either.  Nothing has grabbed my attention yet. 

I cleaned my studio, unpacking mini furniture from stashed boxes and moving it all to the shallow shelves in the corner.  It will get dusty here, but at least I can see what I've got.  I'm certain I missed a box of HOM kits though, I'll have to dig deeper into my closet.

The kit will continue to sit on the table in the other corner, where I can keep playing with it until inspiration strikes.  I'll be patient.

I finished it in gray only because I have a new set of grayscale markers. 

The kit was well made, easy to do, with thorough instructions in both words and pictures.  I enjoyed myself.  Thank you Nancy, for the bonus liner paper options.

I used the leftover weaving and trim to make a plant pot.  Waste not, want not.

I could clean my studio so I have a place to work on the new contest kit.  Or I could invade the dining room with Nancy's kits, which arrived in the mail today.

It's not a difficult decision.

I got over the flu, felt better for two or three days, then it came back with a vengeance.  I've been working from home the last few days instead of going to the office.  I'm feeling better again now.  Thanks for all the well wishes.

The next contest kit arrives tomorrow, and I'm not ready for it, my studio is a mess and I've been too under the weather to clean it.  I've got motivation now, though.

Thanks to Bridget, who sent a belated Christmas present.  The artists got a box fan to help them stay cool, and Ester got some catnip, which I couldn't unpack fast enough to suit her.
